The Tycosian Saga -Short Fiction

Prelude To The Tycosa Saga:

(Origin Mythos)

In another world known as Terraset, there was a war between mighty gods known as the mystics, the gods fought for land, as nature was their source of power, as the gods fought the planet withered and wilted, the mystics turned animals into warriors to fight, and enslaved humans as well. However one of the mystics hearing the cries of the planet, took his land, and cast up mountains around it, creating a pristine valley paradise shut off from the rest of the world.

As the mystics battled and the world decayed, the valley he had named Tycosa flourished. In time, the mystics begun to die out, and as they continued to fight, the peaceful mystic gathered the beast hybrids, dragons, and fallen warriors to live in peace within his valley free from the enslavement and war of his brothers. In time, one mystic came to power and destroyed the rest, his name was Kyambas, now, Kyambas alone in the barren wasteland of Terraset, was without power, yet within the Tycosian valley was the life and vitality necessary to revive the planet and give him strength.

A great war was fought, but with the aid of the creatures he had saved, and the nature of the valley, the good mystic was able to defeat Kyambas. During the battle the two canceled out each others power and became mortal. Their wars over and the planet battered and ruined. Hundreds of years passed and Terrasets history begun. Now the quest for survival in this new world begins, between the barren kingdom of Arconia and the hidden valley of the winds, Tycosa.

About Tycosian Dragons (2005)

About My Dragons - Fiction

Introduction.

Considering my beliefs, (found in the "Dragon Spirituality", or "My draconity" sections) this page is a compilation of information that I perceive to be true of Tycosian dragons based off my faith and meditations in regards to Korageth's existence as such a being.

Please note that this document is a rewrite and therefore superior and separate from the one once portrayed at this location in the past.

My perceptions of Korageth's life are based off a series of dreams, meditations, possible memories, visions and so forth, the most controversial aspect of my draconity is the humanoid wolf which I call Justra, his presence in my spirituality is mostly based off dreams of my perceived death, I had assumed in the past based on his presence that Korageth may have been domesticated by him and based past assumptions of my draconity on that belief.

This page will reflect that. However keep in mind that I have no evidence, it is assumption, bull, belief, faith, the opposite of proof. Take this page with a grain of salt, written from assumption it lacks truth, it represents thoughts and feelings I experienced during my early awakening, and that's about it.

Since the Tycosian dragons are based solely on my perceptions and beliefs, they would obviously have no relevance to actual dragons physical or spiritual, of this or any other worlds, therefore any information on this page should be regarded only as theoretical assumption.

Notes Regarding My Dragons (2010)

About My Dragons - Fiction

Clarification

I originally had three dragons. Two head mates being Jafira and Veltra. alongside of my dragonkin identity Korageth, later in time, I determined that only one (Korageth) was spiritually legitimate. My head mates Jafira and Veltra were determined to be aspects of my personality, higher self, or psychological dissociative identities portrayed as sentient dragon persona's within my minds eye.

Veltra was an analytical segment of myself and Jafira was an extroverted aspect of myself, In short I was psychologically segmented and it represented itself through my spirituality, upon this realization my head mates faded away.

That is the best explanation for them I have at this point in my understanding.

Notes Regarding My Dragons and Site.
Disclaimer: My dragons are nonexistent in any physical form and I make no assertion that they entirely exist spiritually or otherwise outside of my own conscious mind and perceptions. Details regarding them are subject to change as more is learned.

Tycosa: Tycosa was a large valley paradise that I would often dream about or fantasize of when I was younger, it was later used as the setting for my fictional stories and the supposed homeland of my dragon persona's.

Terraset: Terraset was the name given to the fictional home world in which Tycosa would be found.

The Tycosian Language: The Tycosian language was inspired one night many years ago. I was probably around the age of twelve when I first wrote them, I begin to generate words and their translations I had two pages, however one was lost, that which remains I put on the site. I make no claim of validity for the Tycosian language, it was simply the ramblings of a child.

My Stories: All my stories are fictional based off of Terraset and Tycosa. My first story, the battle for Tycosa was supposed to be an exaggerated biography of life as the dragon Korageth and was based off of a sequence of dreams, for example the death of Korageth. Other scenes from the story like the appearance of Veltra, Jafira, the Lycona woods, and the great falls were also inspired from dreams not to mention the tower and certain scenes in different stories.

My story titled "Battle for Tycosa" was later revised as more was learned, and rewritten as "Tycosian Dreams" And was later rewritten once again under a supposedly "channeled trance" in 2010 as Korageth's biography. Rashau's Biography was also written under a channeled "trance" about that time.

Regardless, as my actual knowledge is limited controversial and basic, these channeled trance writings are subjective and to be suspect. They are stories and remain fiction and fantasy alongside all my others, nothing more.

Korageth Nivano Nightwind (1990-Present)

About My Dragons - Fiction

About Korageth Nightwind.

ABOUT KORAGETH:
Korageth first appeared to me as a sort of mental companion, rather then an imaginary friend, a voice within my mind whom I would speak with and discuss philosophy and life. From the age of six until my early teen years he was only that. Around the age of thirteen I realized that our relationship was not normal and that questioning his existence would not cause him to vanish. In time his voice begin to be associated with a mental image of a black dragon and it was determined that it was his form, if he had such.

His name was obtained through a recurring dream of me dying as him, as well as through deeper questioning and exploration into the reasoning of this foreign consciousness. He exists within me to this day and helps to guide me with my decisions, his personality is separate from mine and tends to be a bit arrogant, prideful and loose tempered.

From past questioning of Kora about his purpose and existence, it has been strongly perceived and theorized that I spiritually may be a reincarnation of him. That when he was killed in that dream of mine, his spirit or consciousness had somehow partitioned a segment of itself and memories before being born as I am today. When I was younger and questioned him he would usually explain that as I begun to age, his partition of my soul began to wake up within me, he observed, learned alongside me and eventually begin to aid me in life as we were still one being, just separate minds and lives.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
APPEARANCE:
Korageths appearance was that of an average dragon, he had black scales, was western in appearance and average size. His eyes may have been green with a yellow tint, his belly scales are believed to have been a light gray, and his form that of a young adult.

The frontal spine which gives him a punk appearance in some of his earlier representations is NOT canon, it just looked good and added flavor when I tried to draw him in the past. Korageth was just a generic black western dragon, he had no unique features.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FURTHER INFORMATION:
If the reincarnation theory is to be taken into account, then in life Korageth could be considered very different from his fictional representations within my stories, likely being feral like a giant cat.

In regards to Kora's "spiritually accurate life", it is believed that he lived the life of a a nomadic dragon, had obtained a mate near the end of his life, and was well settled in a secluded valley similar in appearance to the fictional Tycosa that I used to write about.

It is firmly believed due to a past recurring dream, that Korageth had died at night outside of a ruined stone building, after having been ambushed while sleeping inside.

It is also firmly felt that he had died alongside a humanoid wolf companion or partner whom had been murdered coming to his defense. The numerous fictional stories on my site were based mostly around aspects of those recurring dreams.

Rashau Seriana (2008)

About My Dragons - Fiction

About Rashau Seriana.

ABOUT RASHAU:
Rashau was discovered or theorized late in my spiritual development upon reading the results of a seven page document that I had written to myself while in a meditative trance in the year 2008. In the letter I claimed to be writing from an unbiased view point as my "higher self" and had accused myself of ignoring possible evidence past and present that would point to an alternate or secondary life as a female dragon unrelated to the lifetime experienced as Korageth.

After reading the document I had immediately disregarded the possibility of a secondary incarnation as fluff. I had just explained away my past guides Jafira and Veltra and was confident and content with my knowledge and understanding of my spirituality in relation to Korageth. Suddenly claiming to have awakened as also having been a female dragon and throwing the social perception of gender confusion disorder out on to the web would be an extremely embarrassing and controversial scenario after just claiming a public victory in removing several years of fluff and confusion from my perceived beliefs.

The timing was awful, but after ignoring it for a few months I begun to open up to the idea, I was able to look back in my personal history and determine a few dreams in which I was a dragon other then Kora, and a few visions, emotions and day dreams of equal confusion, all of which had been disregarded in the past as odd manifestations of my anima or feminine side, but when placed in a spiritual context, were no less valid then the evidence used as the basis for Korageths spiritual existence.

Around that time, I confided with my mate Skyla and she tried to get me to be more accepting of the possibility, she drew several drawings of Kora and my prior guides as female versions of themselves and had requested I try to envision such, "If they're still the same, what would be wrong with having been Rashau in the past?" She reminded me that what ones spirit was does not reflect who and what they are today.

As further work towards acceptance of the idea, Skyla convinced me to attempt another meditative trance similar to the one that exposed Rashau's possible existence in the beginning, and in the claimed state of my higher self, I wrote a biography of her life and death to accompany the perceived biography of Korageth.

Thanks to my mate Skyla, my friends and a lot of patience I eventually accepted Rashau as a possible aspect of my perceived spiritual history. I may had lived as Rashau, then Kora. gaining a dragon perspective as both opposing genders, an experiential balance or yin-yang. Each life is a separate spiritual journey, just as is the one I live now as a human.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
APPEARANCE:
Rashau's appearance is perceived to be that of an adult slender western dragon, green scales, tan underbelly, red mane, dual horns protruding from her skull, she had small spines down her back which were obscured by her fur or feathered mane, her tail does not end in a spade like Korageths but rather ends in a tuft or natural tip, her eye color is unknown and at this time is left to artistic interpretation. See below.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FURTHER INFORMATION:
If the reincarnation theory is to be taken into account, then in life Rashau was perceived to have been hatched with siblings in a forested area, abandoned by her parents after a couple weeks and left to fend for herself.

She appeared to have lived a nomadic and feral life traveling and existing alone for several years hibernating during the winters and basing her decisions and habits on the seasonal changes of her environment.

It is perceived based on past dreams and emotions that if Rashau is a true incarnation, then there is a powerful emotional memory of her finding a mate near a lake that was within her territory.

It is perceived that she had a much longer life in comparison to Korageth and alongside her theoretical aforementioned mate she had various offspring based seasonally over the course of several years, until apparently dying of some form of illness at a mid adult age.
